About Me
Originally from Torrance, California, I graduated high school a year early to study abroad in Germany with the CBYX High School program before heading to Boston to study at Northeastern University. Talk about a change in weather!
I've been drawn to the intersection of design and engineering since my visit to the Bauhaus museum in Weimar as part of the CBYX program. It was the neatest summary of artistic expression, science minded design, engineering technology, and industrialization that, even today, appears future looking. The school may be closed now, but the spirit behind the Bauhaus led me to my combined degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design at Northeastern University where I'm able to pursue opportunities to fluidly apply design thinking to engineering academically and professionally.
"Hardware is hard" sums up the reason I'm a mechanical engineer in the first place. And in true engineering fashion, I'm always looking for the easiest route to solve the most difficult problems.
In my free time, you can find me hardware hacking, playing tennis, fencing, working on ceramics pieces, and plotting my escape from Boston.
